Dinner Doctor: Busy Young Couple, No Dishwasher

The idea of “Dinner Doctor” was created when my last book “Spices of Life” was published. To be honest, I was trying to think of ideas for the “Oprah” TV show. I had been on the Today Show, Martha Stewart Living, NPR, and on local radio and TV programs all over the country, but NOT on Oprah. Every author DREAMS of appearing on Oprah because it SELLS BOOKS. And “Spices of Life” took me SEVEN years to write!!
My idea was to take different family situations from all over the country -like a single woman in the East, a busy family in the Mid-West, and a young couple from the West Coast, go into their homes, discuss their issues, design a small pantry, and give them strategies and recipes. My publishers, so they say, tried, but “Oprah” wasn’t interested. Later, however, when I was talking to the Editors at Oprah Magazine, they LOVED the idea so I wrote my first “Dinner Doctor” article for the January issue and more are on the way.
Stay tuned and enjoy!!
Next week, Nina goes in the kitchen and cooks fresh salmon with garlic dressing.

hey, we’re a busy couple with no dishwasher too - this was great and informative!
Chuck:
Thanks for your comment. Stay tuned for the next segment. I think you’ll appreciate how you can make a complete dinner with 2 or 3 dishes. When my husband and I first got together, we didn’t have a dishwasher either so I can DEFINITELY relate.

Two great shows coming together to make one great podcast!
Nice! It’s almost like DriveTime… maybe ParkTime since the car wasn’t moving?
The aspect ratio of this video is off slightly — we look like we’re in the end credits of a Godzilla movie. Compare with Nina’s appearance on DriveTime Episode Two.Thirteen.
That horrible digital squealing is my phone which does bad things to video cameras.
Looking forward to the exciting conclusion!
Thanks Ravi.
I exported a larger Quicktime version at 720×480.
