The Food Project Has Local Organic Food

The Food Project

I’m a sucker for great looking vegetables and inexpensive prices, so naturally I was drawn to The Food Project stand at my local farmers market, where I buy local food.

J. Harrison, Director of Agriculture, North Shore, and some of the kids working the stand, spoke passionately of The Food Project:

• We sell produce at stands in the city
• Donate food to food banks, shelters and food pantries
• Bring good food to people in need

The Food Project has become an inspiring charitable organization for similar programs all over the U.S.

• Buy fresh, local food
• Eat fresh, local food (organic if possible)
• Support your local farmers markets
